Tam is our longest standing member, having started Judo at the Focus Club over 35 years ago under the guidance of the founding coach, Bill Hislop. Tam quickly progressed through the ranks to black belt and regularly competed in national competitions, the highlight of which was becoming Scottish closed champion in 199?. Tam is now "retired" from competition but is an active member of the coaching team and it currently working through his theory to progress to 5th Dan.
