We have 4 qualified coaches that oversee safe, high quality training every week. Our coaching team is led by Tam Hardie (4th Dan), our longest standing member of the club with over 30 years Judo experience. Tam is assisted by James Hunt, Stuart Gordon and most recently Lee Allan.
We are currently updating our certification to a new nationally recognised coaching scheme called the UKCC, which all major participation sports in the United Kingdom are changing to. Tam and James should achieve their level 2 qualification before Christmas 2009. Lee has recently passed his Level 1 course and Stuart will be taking his level 2 course in the new year. All coaches have full disclosure and first aid certification.
